Dolly Parton recently said, “I ain’t dead yet!” She had to flood social media with this statement because a family member apparently posted something about her health, maybe age implied, maybe not. Anyway, it made her fans nervous.Right now, I’m understanding what she meant.
I have a birthday looming, so I’m a little sensitive at the moment. I felt like saying something along the same lines as Dolly Parton to our Fox Associates ‘fans,’ because I’m fine and I expect to be here for quite some time!
Yes, of course, I know that nothing, certainly not time, is guaranteed. So we live and plan, and we hope we are granted a good long time on this earth.
I’m of the opinion that your odds are increased if you work passionately for goals, both business and personal. So I have spent the last weeks working intensely for my Fox Associates business partners and for our company’s publisher partners. And now, to reward myself for that—and to escape any birthday age-reveal parties—my birthday will be spent in the tiny country of Bhutan (adjacent to China and to India). I’ve been there before and will return with travel friends, who are Asia professional travel agents, just 12 of us.
I’m urging y’all to think the same, or similarly. We only have one chance, so let’s live intensely and happily. See you soon!
